In a surprising and unusual change of direction, the mainstream media have finally begun to report on the events of the 2012 Bilderberg Group meeting and have ended their systematic blackout. Although the reporting by the mainstream media has not been entirely fair and accurate, at least the blackout imposed by the mainstream media has been lifted. The lifting of the blackout will provide ordinary people an opportunity to learn about the Bilderberg Group.
At present, the only credible reporting by the media on the events of this year’s Bilderberg Group meeting has been derived from the alternative media. Not one member, reporter, or representative from the Globalist backed mainstream media has been spotted reporting on site at the Bilderberg Group meeting, instead, the main stream media has opted to report on the Bilderberg Group meeting remotely.
For some unknown and strange reason, the mainstream media appears to be too scared or not willing to make the effort to report on the events of the Bilderberg Group meeting on site. Keeping in mind that the top global elite, government officials, and industrialists who are in a position to influence the 99% of us are secretly meeting, the mainstream media would rather report on resolutions and conferences at the Globalist United Nations and the whereabouts of Justin Bieber.
Alternative media outlets such as prisonplanet.com and the Drudge Report have been actively reporting on the events leading up to the Bilderberg Group meeting. In fact, Alex Jones from prisonplanet.com has arrived on site and is currently dedicating four days of his broadcast to reporting on the events of the Bilderberg Group meeting.
Ultimately, It’s good to see that the mainstream media have started to dedicate reports on the Bilderberg Group. Popular mainstream media outlets such as the Daily Mail, National Post, politico, the Guardian, and Washington Times have at some point reported on or made reference to the Bilderberg Group meeting. On the surface, this may sound insignificant considering that there are thousands of mainstream media outlets worldwide, however up until two weeks ago Politico was the only mainstream media outlet that reported, or even made mention of the Bilderberg Group.
Overwhelmingly though, the reporting by the mainstream media on the events of the 2012 Bilderberg Group meeting has been negative. In fact, the Globalist backed Washington Times dedicated an entire article to demonize and denounce the protests of the activists who are at the Bilderberg Group meeting.
Not once during the article does the Washington Times make the effort to analyse and discuss the agenda of the Bilderberg Group meeting and who the attendees of the Bilderberg Group meeting are. In fact, when reporting on the alternative media who are in attendance at the Bilderberg Group meeting, the Washington Times goes as far as to say that “they’re willing to take extreme measures to combat it”.
To some extent, the activists who are protesting at the Bilderberg Group meeting are willing to make all efforts to ensure that the Bilderbergers know that they are being watched, however I think the statement made by the Washington Times implies that the activists at the Bilderberg Group meeting at planning and willing to use violence to voice their concerns. This in fact is not true and is contrary the to protesters beliefs and objectives of their Bilderberg Group protests.
Also as expected, international mainstream media outlets have been portraying a positive spin on the Bilderberg Group meeting, rather than reporting on the globalist agenda that usually comes out of Bilderberg Group meetings.
The Irish Times recently published an article about Ireland’s Minister for Finance Michael Noonan’s attendance at the Bilderberg Group meeting. Not once during the article does the Irish Times question why the Minister for Finance is there, not once did they ask what the Minister for Finance is hoping to achieve by being the Bilderberg Group meeting and not once does the article question the motives of the Bilderberg Group meeting.
Thankfully, there is hope in the fact that one mainstream media outlet, the Guardian UK, has recently published an article titled “protest groups converged to denounce the secretive Bilderberg Group conference”. The article written by Ryan Devereaux from the Guardian UK describes the Bilderberg Group meeting as “the annual off the record gathering of global leaders in finance policy and national security”.
Devereaux then goes on to describe the level of detail and effort that the organisers of the Bilderberg Group meeting had gone to, to ensure that no one is able to participate and witness the meeting by saying “the meeting is taking place behind chain-link fencing, with no trespassing signs and scores of local police surrounding the building”.
To the credit of Ryan Devereaux from the Guardian UK, his tone and demeanour is refreshing and is not entirely negative. Maybe we are about to witness a change, or shift, in the way in which the mainstream media outlets report on the events of next year’s Bilderberg Group meeting?
We can agree that the increase in reporting on the events of the Bilderberg Group meeting is a positive, and a step forward. One day, just one day we may be in a position where every single Bilderberg Group meeting will be reported in full and via all mainstream media outlets.
Although reporting of the Bilderberg Group meetings will never be true and reflective of the Bilderbergers hidden agenda, at least now most people who read or depend on the news that is derived from the mainstream media will be in a position to learn about the Bilderberg Group meeting and understand what the Bilderberg Group meeting is about.
